‘Elden Ring Nightreign’ Demo Coming to PAX East This Week; New Gameplay Boss Footage Released [Watch]

With PAX East kicking off later this week, Bandai Namco and From Software are bringing Elden Ring Nightreign to the event, including a brand new demo. That’s in addition to a new trailer that was just released (courtesy of IGN), revealing one of the eight Nightlords you’ll be facing off against in the game: Libra.

To up the “cool” factor, the demo will be featured in an immersive theater on the show floor, where popular content creators will enlist players to take on the game’s challenging three-player co-op action. If successful, the player will win prizes for everyone the audience. Seasoned Souls-like players Distortion2, Oroboro, LilAggy, Larxa, and Parkenharbor will enlist one lucky player for each demo session.

The Elden Ring Nightreign theater demo will run every hour at the Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. booth (16055), with attendees needing to come to the booth to register for free to receive tickets with showtimes.

Set in a universe parallel to the events of Elden Ring, in Elden Ring Nightreign, players must make split-second decisions about combat and exploration across a map that can fluctuate with different biomes, weapons, and enemies in order to become stronger, and outrun the encroaching circle of fire to be able to take on terrifying bosses at the end of each day. This culminates on the third day, where if players were successful in surviving the night must take on one of the Nightlords.

Elden Ring Nightreign Arrives May 30 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series.

PAX East 2025 takes place May 8–11 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
