Riley Dickinson, in his return to Porsche Carrera Cup North America competition, was quickest following Wednesday’s pair of practice sessions for this week’s season-opening races at Sebring International Raceway.

The 2023 series champion reeled off a chart-topping 2:02.384 lap time in his No. 91 Kellymoss Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car in the day’s opening session to outpace the No. 78 Topp Racing entry of Ryan Yardley by 0.719 seconds.

Yardley’s 2:03.103 time was set in the closing minutes of Practice 2 and was quickest of that session.

The Kiwi was one of only five cars to improve on their times from the morning 30-minute session.

Series debutant Aaron Jeansonne was third quickest in the No. 24 Kellymoss Porsche, with Zachary Vanier and Matheus Leist completing the top-five for JDX Racing and Nolasport, respectively.

Juan Pablo Martinez was quickest in the Pro-Am class in his ACI Motorsports Porsche, while Scott Blind topped the time charts in Masters for Ruckus Racing.

Both sessions ran without any major incidents or red flags.

Qualifying is on tap for Thursday at 9:15 a.m. EST, followed by Race 1 at 4:55 p.m., which will be broadcast live on IMSA.tv, Peacock and PorscheCarreraCup.us.
