Deltron 3030 (Del the Funky Homosapien, Dan the Automator, Kid Koala) announce 25th anniversary tour for debut LP

Deltron 3030, the trio of rapper Del the Funky Homosapien, producer Dan the Automator, and turntablist Kid Koala, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their classic self-titled debut album by playing it live on tour. The 16-date tour kicks off July 18 in Vancouver and hits Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Philly and more before wrapping up at NYC’s Webster Hall on October 6.

Released May 23, 2000, Deltron 3030 featured contributions from Del and Dan’s Gorillaz bandmate Damon Albarn, plus Prince Paul, Beans, Mr Lif, Peanut Butter Wolf, Money Mark, Crash Test Dummies’ Brad Roberts, Mark Bell (LFO), Sean Lennon and more. Their second album, Event 2, came out in 2013, and the trio are currently working on their third, which will hopefully be out before 3030.
