DABA: Sara Lev

[I am reviving the Deserves a Bigger Audience (DABA) feature of this blog and the red megaphone!]

I had the chance a couple of weeks ago to finally meet Sara Lev. If you don’t know Sara, she is absolutely incredible.

Sara is a current Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) and instructional coach – and former Transitional Kindergarten (TK) teacher – for the Larchmont Charter School Network in Los Angeles, California. Sara also serves as National Faculty for PBLWorks and is the lead author of Implementing PBL in Early Childhood, which is a fantastic and extremely practical book about how to implement project-based learning structures and practices with our littlest learners.

Additionally, Sara helps run the Early Childhood Project Based Learning website and is co-hosting the ECPBL Conference in Missoula, Montana this April in partnership with the University of Montana Institute for Early Childhood Education.

Sara has a LOT of expertise and experience to share with us related to deeper learning with young children. I do hope that you will check out her resources. She definitely deserves a bigger audience!

ECPBL Conference.
