Canadiens’ Patrik Laine returns vs. Kraken, Joel Armia out with injury

The Montreal Canadiens swap one winger for another ahead of Wednesday night’s game against the Seattle Kraken.

Star forward Patrik Laine will return to the line-up after missing two games with illness, while depth winger Joel Armia will not play due to an upper body injury.

The 31-year-old is considered day-to-day.

Laine missed the first few months of the regular season after suffering a knee injury in a pre-season contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Since returning to play, he has 14 goals and 24 points in 34 games.

The Canadiens are coming off a 4-2 rout of the Vancouver Canucks, and will play the final game of their West Coast road trip on Wednesday against the Kraken.
