Newcastle are next in Premier League action on Monday evening as they travel to Leicester City. However, Howe has revealed that Gordon is still suffering pain due to his hip problem. ‘He hasn’t yet. It’s another one we’re monitoring,’ Howe said when asked if Gordon has taken part in full training this week. He’s not done group training. He’s still not feeling 100 per cent pain free so, again, let’s wait and see.’ Meanwhile, Alexander Isak and Kieran Tripper face late fitness tests after they were both forced off against Brentford due to groin issues. ‘Wait and see today, really,’ Howe said on Friday. ‘Of course, I had medical updates yesterday but I will see them for first time today. Eddie Howe has revealed that Anthony Gordon remains an injury doubt for Newcastle United’s Premier League match against Leicester City on Monday night.

Gordon suffered a hip injury after coming on as a substitute in England’s 2-0 win against Albania during the international break.
