Pirelli GT4 America returns to its traditional sprint racing format this weekend at Sebring International Raceway, with a total of 30 cars entered for the pair of 60-minute races at the Florida airfield circuit.
Rounds 4 and 5 of the season sees several changes to the entry since the three-hour Lone Star Enduro, including the series debut of Van der Steur Racing’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo, which moves over from GT America powered by AWS competition.
As previously announced, Max Hewitt will be joined by Luca Mars in the Silver class entry.
While Rigid Speed Company is slated to return this weekend with Lucas and Joseph Catania, Marco Polo Motorsports is notably absent from the entry list with its Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2.
Porsche Motorsport North America Selected Driver Loek Hartog, meanwhile, returns to the wheel of the No. 9 ACI Motorsports Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, while Tim Savage’s co-driver in the No. 007 ProSport Competition Aston Martin Vantage GT4 has yet to be declared.
RAFA Racing Team’s Gresham Wagner and Tyler Gonzalez took over the lead of the Silver class standings following their victory in the double points-paying COTA round, with Random Vandals Racing’s Kenton Koch and Kevin Boehm dropping to third in the standings after a challenging race.
Braydon Arthur and Mike David Ortmann, of JMF Motorsports, sit second in the points standings.
Pro-Am continues to be led by BimmerWorld’s James Walker Jr. and Tyler McQuarrie, while Anthony Geraci and Kenny Schmied are out front in Am entering this weekend’s action.
GT4 America teams will have two test sessions on Thursday, followed by a pair of practice sessions on Friday, qualifying and Race 1 (4:50 p.m. EST) on Saturday and Race 2 (11:10 a.m. EST) on Sunday.
Both 60-minute races will be streamed live on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and on Twitch.
