2025 SYM ADXTG 400 scooter in Malaysia this May

Arriving in Malaysia this May is the 2025 SYM ADXTG 400 scooter, with an estimated price of below RM30,000. According to SYM Malaysian distributor MForce Bike Holdings, the ADXTG 400 is a true adventure scooter with several advantages over its competitors.

Firstly, the single-cylinder, 399 cc, liquid-cooled SOHC engine on the ADXTG 400 is mounted on the frame, amidships, unlike other scooters where the engine and gearbox form part of the swingarm thus giving handling more akin to a motorcycle. Power is claimed to be 34.5 hp at 7,000 rpm with 37 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox, with chain final drive to the rear wheel. Frot suspension is with upside-down forks holding a 15-inch front wheel and the rear end is held up with a monoshock and 14-inch wheel.

For braking, hydraulic discs are fitted front and rear, with two-channel ABS and traction control as standard equipment. Should the rider take the ADXTG 400 off-road, both systems can be disabled from buttons on the LCD instrument panel.

Other riding conveniences include a smart key system, manually adjustable windshield, hand and engine guards, LED lighting throughout, USB charging socket and a 32-litre storage compartment under the seat. The ADXTG 400 has a seat height of 790 mm while weight is listed at 213 kg.
