What's the Meaning of the Prayer Dr. Robby Recites in 'The Pitt's Latest Episode?

Editor's note: The below contains spoilers for The Pitt Episode 14.Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch (Noah Wyle) has been having an extremely rough day on Max's The Pitt. In the single shift depicted in the hit series' first season, it is the anniversary of Robby's mentor's death, and he has been struggling with flashbacks of this trauma all day. He has also been tasked with treating a number of complicated patients, several of which have had tragic outcomes. But then things got so much worse. In Episodes 12 and 13, dozens of victims from a mass shooting event stream into The Pitt, creating complete chaos in the emergency room. Each of the doctors is affected by the tragedy unfolding around them, but Robby is hit the hardest when he fails to save a very important patient. As Robby hits rock bottom, the thing he turns to in his moment of crisis is surprising, but it helps us better understand who he actually is.
