We’re All Wondering It: Why Exactly Does WB Hate Bugs Bunny?
Warner Bros. has an obvious and strange distaste for Looney Tunes as well as everyone's favorite Bunny.

With the plan to raze Studio 131, the home of Looney Tunes, on their lot, Warner Bros.has, for all intents and purposes, turned their backs on Bugs Bunny and company. It’s the final nail in what seems to be a concerted effort to distance themselves from the iconic franchise. Shelving completed projects, pulling the shorts off of Max, and more are clear indications of a seeming distaste for the beloved toons. The announcement of new animated Looney Tunes movies at CinemaCon 2025, without any real details, just seems to have been crafted to dodge the onslaught of negative press. So why does Warner Bros. hate Bugs Bunny?
