Nonnas, made by filmmaker Stephen Chbosky (of
The Perks of Being a Wallflower,
Wonder, and the musical
Dear Evan Hansen). This is ready to warm up your home
in May streaming on Netflix. After his mother passes away, one man named Joe Scaravella risks everything to honor her by opening an Italian restaurant with a group of local grandmothers as the chefs. Based on a true story,
Nonnas is a heartfelt celebration of the love of food, and family and all the ingredients of life.
Vince Vaughn stars as Joe, with the amazing Nonnas played by
Susan Sarandon as Gia,
Brenda Vaccaro as Antonella,
Lorraine Bracco as Roberta, and
Talia Shire as Teresa. The fun full cast also includes
