HAIM

Haim have been teasing their first album since 2020, including dropping a couple new songs, and now they’ve announced two hometown LA shows happening April 23 & 24 at The Bellwether. “This is for everyone who’s been there since day one,” the band write. “We love you guys. take me back. los angeles see you next week.” Perhaps there will be some news at those shows. You can RSVP for tickets.

SABA / OVRKAST

Saba has announced The Big Picture Tour which will have him out with Ovrkast. Dates begin June 7 in Dallas and wrap June 28 in Los Angeles.

MICHAEL ANGELAKOS IS PASSION PIT

Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos writes on Instagram that his band is “powering down,” and he’s announced an eight-night residency at NYC’s Deluxx Fluxx (the old Studio at Webster Hall location) titled “Michael Angelakos is Passion Pit.” Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 17 at 3 PM ET.

FRANKIE COSMOS W/ FANTASY OF A BROKEN HEART, CHRIS COHEN, MORE

Frankie Cosmos will release their new EP Different Talking in June and have just announced a tour which has them out in September with Fantasy of a Broken Heart and Moontype, and October with Chris Cohen and Emily Yacina.

ILLUMINATI HOTTIES / GEORGIA MAQ

Illuminati Hotties will support their new EP on tour, including shows with Camp Cope’s Georgia Maq.

TRIPPING DAISY

Texas psych band Tripping Daisy, who were led by Tim DeLaughter before he formed The Polyphonic Spree, have announced their first tour since breaking up in 1999. They’ll play their 1995 album I Am an Elastic Firecracker (which includes their hit “I Got a Girl”) in full.

NEKO CASE / JOHN GRANT / DES DEMONAS

Neko Case has announced a fall tour which has her out with John Grant and Des Demonas depending on the date.

SEBADOH / LOU BARLOW

Sebadoh have announced their first US headline show in six years, which happens in September in Brooklyn. Lou Barlow will also be on a short Northeast solo tour with Guided by Voices’ Bobby Bare Jr in May.

BONNAROO

Bonnaroo have announced their 2025 daily schedules.

TRIBECA FEST 2025

Tribeca Festival (fka Tribeca Film Festival) has announced its 2025 slate, which includes documentaries on Long Island rap, Metallica, Culture Club, Depeche Mode, and lots more.

LADYLAND 2025

The 2025 edition of the annual Pride Month festival LadyLand has Cardi B, FKA twigs, Eartheater, and more.

SHAMIR

Shamir’s final solo album, Ten, will be out May 16 and to celebrate they’ll be doing a couple in-stores: May 15 at Repo Records in Philadelphia, and May 19 at Rough Trade in NYC.

DWARVES

Punk vets Dwarves are on tour this year, with West Coast shows with Eye Hate God and Luicidal starting next week. They also have East Coast shows in late summer, including NYC’s Racket on August 1 with Skarhead, Ache, Shred Flintstone and Burn Kit.
