‘Together’ Trailer – Alison Brie & Dave Franco Star in Neon’s Romantic Body Horror Nightmare

In the wake of horror hits Longlegs and The Monkey, distributor NEON is back in the horror game this summer with Together, which they’re calling “the horror movie of the year.”

NEON will release Together in theaters everywhere on August 1, 2025.

Watch the official teaser trailer for Together below, which retains all the film’s mysteries while offering up some wild imagery that immediately calls Carpenter’s The Thing to mind.

And Together is indeed a body horror nightmare of Lovecraftian proportions, the upcoming movie from director Michael Shanks said to “put a meta spin on the body horror film.”

Together follows a codependent couple that moves to the remote countryside to become even closer. And they do, on a nightmarish physical level, thanks to a supernatural force.

Meagan Navarro reviewed Together for Bloody Disgusting out of Sundance.

“Alison Brie and Dave Franco star as a stagnating couple who find themselves dealing with codependency issues of the Lovecraftian kind,” Meagan details. “Its unique blend of awkward romantic dramedy and cosmic body horror yields no shortage of crowd-pleasing moments and horror freakouts that left the rowdy Sundance audience laughing and screaming in equal measure.
