TikTok Introduced Me to My New Favorite Singer, Magnolia Park

2021 was the year I joined TikTok. Like many new users, I was fascinated by how quickly the algorithm figured me out. In no time, my for you page was giving me media recommendations like it was hotcakes. One band that the algorithm introduced me to was Magnolia Park, a punk rock group that, in my opinion, is redefining what it means to succeed in the genre, as well as challenging industry norms and inspiring a new generation of punk fans along the way.
