‘The Pitt’ Saved One of Its Most Important and Emotional Scenes About the Shooter for the Finale

In the last hour of their extended nightmarish shift, the ER staff are finally allowed to process everything that has transpired during the day. The overflow of patients they had already been experiencing is drastically increased after the intake of the Pittfest mass shooting casualties.
