'The Pitt' Night Shift Spin-Off Is "Possible" According to Executive Producers
Following widespread acclaim, The Pitt's producers have already begun discussing possible spin-offs for the medical drama.
With The Pitt becoming a surprise smash hit for HBO's Max platform, you might assume executive producers John Wells and R. Scott Gemmill would already be gearing up to turn their medical drama into the next Law & Order or FBI–style franchise. But according to the duo, they're not in a rush to slap a spin-off scrub on their surprisingly intimate Pittsburgh-set series. Speaking to TV Line, Wells admitted that the idea of expanding the universe with a night-shift spinoff isn’t off the table — but fans shouldn’t start imagining a full-blown The Pitt: After Dark just yet.
