The one at the beginning
The hardest part of any important task is getting started on it in the first place. Once you actually begin work on a valuable task, you seem to be naturally motivated to continue. ~ Brian Tracy, Eat That Frog! Hello there and welcome to my little part of the internet. I am currently a junior developer, fresh off college and ready to make my mark on the world. It however seems that the resources available at my disposal are quite finite and the skills surprisingly negligible(womp womp!);some people might quit, but not me! I have come to the conclusion that a blog would be a great way, as any, to get started. You know, in the spirit of small beginnings and what not! Well, in all honesty I confess that I came to this realization almost an year ago; but if you know me then you understand that procrastination and I go a long way back :(; so sorry not sorry. Also the job market seems pretty bad and I have a lot of free time on my hands, so why not give this thing a try. I mean, it would help me become more accountable about the projects I build and to really understand what is actually happening behind the scenes. Worst case scenario would be that I actually get better at writing. I loved all things tech since I was little. I never got to interact with it much though(all my third-world peeps can relate to that bit!). But I consider myself lucky to say that it was all around me in other ways;in the movies I watched, in the books I read, in the dreams I ha~~d~~(*ve). Well, it turns out I got reunited with it when I was pursuing my higher education, but that's a story for another day. I guess that's the thing about destiny... Whoa!Whoa! Now I know what you're thinking. You're probably saying to yourself that this is going to be another one of those blogs that last almost as long as the next popular Javascript framework. Filled with poorly written prose displaying the menial skill(or lack thereof) of the writer. My reply to that is, well, maybe! I am no guru in this field and I do not claim to be one. I am still learning, each day a step at a time and that is what I intend to document. My code may be sloppy, my dialogue monotonous and me memes(oh! there'll be plenty of those around here) not quite your taste, but you know, I think Jake the Dog said it best. I'm going to be really bad at it at first, no doubt about it. But if one goes at it long enough, I'd like to think that they get better at it eventually. So do humor me and stick around for a bit, that might happen sooner rather than later. And if not, well... The bulk of my blogs will be centered around tech but you know the old saying, never say never!I might occasionally decide to litter this space with my ramblings on other things, some that annoy me and some that I cherish dearly. I guess we'll know about those when we get there. If you'd like to join me in this adventure, follow along and we'll see where it takes us, but beware, here be dragons!
