The MCU Might Be Making a Mistake With 'Doomsday' When It Comes to the Young Avengers
The Avengers: Doomsday casting news is exciting, but there's a notable absence in the form of the Young Avengers.
March 26 was a rollercoaster of a day for Marvel fans. Spending five-plus hours to see the full roster of Avengers: Doomsdaywas exhausting but it paid off. Now that the dust is settling, there are mostly pros to this large equation. Among them is the somewhat spoiler-y return of almost all the Thunderbolts*, the addition of Letitia Wright’s Black Panther, and the return of Fox's X-Men. But what about the younger heroes? Phases 4 and 5 have introduced fresh blood to the MCU by giving them big spotlights, in their solo projects or as additions to larger franchises. Thus, they were the most notable absences from yesterday’s announcement.
