With that in mind, users can choose to try Garmin Connect+ for free for 30 days, and then choose to pay either a monthly $6.99 subscription fee, or an annual plan which goes for $69.99. While current existing features and data in Garmin connect will remain free, paid users can expect newer features including a performance dashboard with detailed comparison of fitness and health metrics, a live activity feature for real-time monitoring of data and access to workout content, as well as expanded training guidance with expert advice and videos.
Additionally, Garmin Connect+ comes with updates to the LiveTrack feature, allowing for notifications to be sent to selected contacts, and new social elements such as profile frames and access to exclusive badge challenges. Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing comments:
Customers worldwide love using Garmin Connect to track, analyze and share their health and fitness activities. We are excited to provide even more personalized data and enriched features with the addition of Garmin Connect+. You can now learn even more about yourself, take on new challenges, train confidently and stay even more connected.
