Ziggo Sport Tempesta Racing won the Michelin 12H Spa-Francorchamps, overcoming a spin and a penalty to maintain the advantage it built during the opening segment on Saturday and lead a Porsche 1-2 ahead of the debuting 911 GT3 R Evo.

Jonathan Hui, Chris Froggatt and Loek Hartog steered the No. 193 Porsche 911 GT3 R to a second consecutive Michelin 24H Series victory for the Stuttgart marque after Manamauri Energy by Ebimotors won in Mugello last month.

The No. 193 Porsche, which was operated by Herberth Motorsport, already led Saturday’s first five hours of racing ahead of the debuting Evo-spec 911 GT3 R.

Despite a spin for Hui, as well as a 115-second pit stop penalty for a Code 60 refueling infringement, the Tempesta crew managed to still come out on top after twelve hours of racing.

Ralf Bohn, Laurin Heinrich and Alfred Renauer, meanwhile, finished second at the wheel of the No. 91 Porsche, which had been entered into the SP4 class for developmental vehicles and was also run by Herberth.

It marked a successful competition debut for the updated version of Porsche’s GT3 challenger, which is set to be rolled out to customers fully in 2026.

Hofor Racing held on to the third place it had secured at the overnight intervention, with the No. 11 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Alexander Prinz, Chantal Prinz, Michael Kroll and Torsten Kratz completing the overall podium and taking GT3-Am honors in the process.

Scuderia Praha’s No. 56 Ferrari 296 GT3, driven by Miroslav and Matus Vyboh, as well as Josef Král and Dennis Waszek, finished fourth and won the GT3 Pro-Am class.

In GT4, an early Sunday retirement for Venture’s No. 421 Mercedes-AMG GT4 cleared the way for SRS Team Sorg Rennsport to capture a 1-2 finish.

Venture had entered the second portion of the race with a two-lap buffer over the next car in class, but were eliminated by a crash at Raidillon just eight minutes after the start of the second part of the race.

As Hamofa Motorsport’s No. 419 BMW M4 GT4 EVO had effectively been eliminated from contention after losing 15 laps on Saturday, this set up a direct battle between the pair of Sorg Rennsport Porsches for the win in class.

Eventually, Thierry Chkondali, Michel Sallenbach and Marc Girard triumphed in their No. 427 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS after the sister car driven by Benito Tagle, Guy Stewart, Maximilian Hill and Harley Haughton encountered issues.

The No. 419 BMW completed the podium in class, piloted by Rob, Kris and Mark Verhoeven.
