‘S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition’ Launches May 20 [Trailer]

GSC Game World is revisiting last year’s release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy with a brand-new Enhanced Edition that will be coming May 20 for for PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series. The trilogy, comprising Shadow of Chornobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Prypiat will be receiving an overhaul with upgraded visuals, current-gen console optimizations, and expanded mod support.

All platforms will receive the following graphical enhancements for the trilogy:

• Enhanced lighting with godrays, screen space reflections, and global illumination for a more immersive atmosphere.
• Upscaled textures and detailed 3D models for NPCs, weapons, and environments.
• Advanced shaders for water and wetness effects, paired with upgraded skyboxes for a more dynamic world.
• 4K pre-rendered cinematics for dramatic storytelling and improved weapon FOV for better combat visibility.

Meanwhile, the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 will receive new graphical mode enhancements, as well as keyboard and mouse support. Likewise, PC gamers will now be able to play the games with full Steam Deck compatibility, as well as have Steam Workshop integration, cloud saves and gamepad support. Both console and PC players will also be able to create and share mods across PC and consoles via mod.io.

Players who own the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy on Xbox Series or PlayStation 5 will receive the Enhanced Edition of the corresponding games for free. As for PC gamers, owners of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games get the Enhanced Editions free, and buyers of the Enhanced Editions receive the original versions included.

The trilogy is available as a bundle for $39.99 USD or individually at $19.99 USD per title.
