Sorry Snyder Fans, Ben Affleck Is Done With the Snyderverse — Even if You Aren’t
With Ben Affleck having no intention of doing more superhero films, it doesn't look good for the Snyder-verse's return of The Justice League.

Ever since Justice League was first released, fans have been calling for Zack Snyderto complete his DCEU vision, even into this new James Gunn-led era. It felt like the release of the four-hour Snyder cut would be the end of it, though that only seemed to energize fans online to demand he be allowed to return. This then led to some fans' outrage at the recasting of actors such as Henry Cavill's Superman, and the discourse has not ceased. While there were teases from Snyder and studio execs at Netflix, this only felt like a small possibility, something only likely to happen at some point in the future, and recently, one of the key actors from the original DCEU just squashed this possibility, stating he would not return to the genre. When we look at their reasoning, it is hard to argue with them, and it is definitely the best thing possible for Gunn, Snyder, and all other parties involved.
