Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce absolutely ruins other parents at son’s sports day race
No mercy from the three-time Olympic gold medalist!

Olympic legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce showed no mercy as she sprinted to victory at her son’s school sports day in the parents’ race.
Looking down the line to see the third fastest women of all time taking her mark was a daunting sight for mums and dads lining up at the recent event in Jamaica.
Fraser-Pryce, the most decorated 100m sprinter of all time, was in attendance to watch her son Zyon in action and eagerly accepted an invitation to join the starting line.
After watching her son pick up a victory over his own in his 100m race, the three-time Olympic gold medal winner was in a typically unforgiving mood.
Pictured going through a relatively brisk warm-up, the 38-year-old blew away the opposition to seal an easy victory.
Fraser-Pryce fully intends to return next year and defend her crown against any bold parents fancying their chances.
‘They haven’t banned me yet so I’m at the line,’ Fraser-Pryce joked on Instagram.
Also on her staggering list of accomplishments, Fraser-Pryce is also a 10-time world champion with her personal best time of 10.6 seconds making her the third fastest woman of all time behind Florence Joyner-Griffith and Elaine Thompson-Herah.
This wasn’t her first sports day triumph either, racing to victory two years ago after receiving a challenge from another parent.
‘Two weeks beforehand she started sending me photos of her working out in the gym,’ she told The Guardian last year.
‘And then she told me she was coming for me! “I was like, “’You can’t be serious girl!”’
Fraser-Pryce was a 100m gold medal champion in Beijing 2008 and London 2012, picking up silver in 2020 in addition to gold in the 4×100 event in Tokyo five years ago.
There was heartbreak in Paris last summer when she withdrew from the 100m event before the semi-finals through injury.
She recently declared she has ‘unfinished business’ ahead of the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo this September which could be her final race.
Earlier this year, Fraser-Pryce told Fox News she has ‘one more year left’ as she plans to sign off an incredible career in style this autumn.
