Seth Rollins lands new job weeks before WrestleMania as NFL Network show makes major shake-up

Speaking to Ryan Glasspiegal of Front Office Sports, Rollins confirmed he will appear as a guest host for three days from March 24-26. “It’s something that I’ve always kind of been interested in, especially in the past few years,” Rollins said. “I’ve gone down to the Super Bowl and done Radio Row. I found myself guest spots on all these shows kind of talking about football, talking about the Chicago Bears.” “And I’ve really enjoyed it. I enjoyed meeting the people. I’ve enjoyed the process.” This is not the first time Rollins has appeared on NFL Network. His last appearance came on February 6 where he spoke about the Chicago Bears hiring Ben Johnson and offered his winner of Super Bowl 59. Rollins’ co-hosts will be regulars Jamie Erdahl and Akbar Gbajabiamila. The 38-year-old will likely fit right as he has struck up a blossoming friendship with host Kyle Brandt. “Kyle and I probably admired each other from afar for a while,” Rollins said. We had some fast food from the night before that had been chucked. It was not a good time to be in that hotel room on Thanksgiving morning.” The new role for Rollins isn’t far from a dream job. The WWE star recently admitted to Jimmy Traina of Sports Illustrated that being a Bears analyst is something he always wanted to do. The trio will likely continue their ongoing feud that is expected to lead to a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41.

Despite WrestleMania fast approaching, the two-time WWE Universal champion will take a brief break from the ring to talk football.
