Iron Lynx has presented an altered lineup for its European Le Mans Series campaign with Mercedes-AMG, with factory driver Fabian Schiller coming in to replace the previously confirmed Gustavo Menezes.

Schiller will pilot the No. 63 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, teaming up with Martin Berry and Lorcan Hanafin.

The inclusion of the Mercedes-AMG factory driver is a notable departure from a previous announcement from the team, which had initially named former Peugeot Hypercar driver Gustavo Menezes as the first driver for the effort in December.

Berry and Hanafin, meanwhile, will continue as co-drivers for a third consecutive ELMS season, having competed with two different teams and manufacturers previously.

They raced with JMW Motorsport and Ferrari in 2023 before sharing a Grid Motorsport by TF Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo with Jonny Adam last year.

“Following our 2024 championship win, we needed a highly competitive line-up to continue with the same pace and I think we have achieved that goal,” said team principal Andrea Piccini.

“Martin and Lorcan have already raced together in the past in ELMS, proving to be fast and consistent, and therefore know the championship very well.

“The chemistry with the team has been evident since the first test, and this led to a very positive atmosphere.

“We will do our best to provide them with a competitive car that can fight for victory, and with a great professional like Fabian on board, we think we have a solid starting situation for the season.”
