Speaking after Madrid’s defeat, Ancelotti admitted a comeback int he second leg will be ‘very, very difficult’. ‘Today they [Arsenal] showed a better attitude, quality, and many other things they did better than us,’ Ancelotti said. ‘In our criticism, we have to be quite honest – for an hour, the team wasn’t bad. But if you only look at the result, it seems like everything should be thrown away. And that’s not the case. ‘The result is very, very difficult to overturn but there were things, in the first half, that we did quite well.
