QOTD: Is An Electrified Subaru WRX STI Sacrilege?

"Electrification" doesn't necessarily mean "electric vehicle" -- it could mean a hybrid.

EV or not, hybrid or not, I suspect that news isn't welcome to Subie fans.

But does any future STI need to be gas-only? What if an electrified version performs better and, in the case of a hybrid, saves fuel?

Is that sacrilege to an STI fan? Or maybe it's better for Subaru to explore electrification if it means the car returns to the market?

At least you can get the tS.

Anyway, go ahead and sound off below.
