RAFA Racing Team is set to launch the next leg of its multi-series program with a two-car Toyota effort in Pirelli GT4 America.

The team will enter a pair of Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2s for the 13-round season with Tyler Gonzalez and Gresham Wagner – both part of the Toyota Driver Development program – behind the wheel of a Silver class entry and Anthony Geraci and Kenny Schmied behind the second in an Am class entry.

Gonzalez and Wagner are both champions in Toyota GR Cup North America in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

“I’m really looking forward to driving the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 and stepping up after winning the GR Cup last year,” said Wagner.

“Tyler and I have had some great battles against each other in the past and it is awesome to now team up together.

“The RAFA Racing Team and Toyota have given me all the tools to be successful this year and I’m very excited about kicking off the year in Sonoma.”

Gonzalez is also a winner from last season in GT4 America running with Smooge Racing, which RAFA Racing announced its partnership with to start the current season.

The young driver has podiumed in other classes, such as TC America and TCR, and not even three months into 2025, he has a victory under his belt in a separate single-make series from January.

“Last year, I started the season with the win at Sonoma and I’m so looking forward to getting back on track and getting back behind the wheel of the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2,” said Gonzalez.

“I’m really appreciative of the support we have from Toyota, and we’re certainly going to be pushing very hard in this chase for the championship.”

Meanwhile, Wagner has an impressive resume of his own, as the Toyota series was one of two single-make championships he topped last season. Despite his indisputable success, Wagner looks forward to his GT4 America debut and the opportunity that comes with the Toyota Gazoo Racing platform.

In the No. 72 Supra GT4, Anthony Geraci will lean on his winning experience with Toyota in the GT4 America Am class – he claimed victories with the brand at Barber Motorsports Park in 2024 and Road America in 2022.

It will be a new pairing for Geraci and Schmied, the latter of whom only made his professional racing debut in 2023, yet finished fifth in the SRO TCX class championship.

“I love racing the Toyota, and I’ve been lucky to have had a couple of wins under my belt in the past,” said Geraci.

“I know the guys at the RAFA Racing Team know how to get the best out of the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 and we’re looking forward to giving it our best shot this season.”

Schmied added: “Joining the RAFA Racing Team this year is super exciting, and I can’t wait to make my debut in Pirelli GT4 America at Sonoma.

“Making the move up to GT4 is a big step, but I am really looking forward to joining up with Anthony who has had great success in the Toyota previously.

“This is an awesome opportunity for me to join the RAFA Racing Team in what will be only my third season of pro racing.”
