Public Enemy have announced a “once in a lifetime” show at Royal Albert Hall. Find ticket details below.

Announced this morning (April 1), the show is being billed as an exclusive, one-off performance in the UK. It’ll see the hip-hop icons take to the stage at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London on June 27, and come as their first UK show in nearly a decade.

According to a new press release, the upcoming show will see Chuck D, Flavor Flav and crew “take the stage for a night of politically charged, high-energy hip-hop, celebrating their legacy”.

They are expected to break out hits including ‘Fight The Power’ and ‘Bring The Noise’ to the stage, as well as more classic tracks from their huge ‘Fear Of A Black Planet’ album, which is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary.

More recent releases are likely to make the setlist too, including songs from their critically acclaimed 2020 album ‘What You Gonna Do When the Grid Goes Down’.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday (April 4) at 9am BST. Visit here to buy tickets.

The new show in London comes as Public Enemy have announced a handful of festival dates for this year too. Chuck D, Flavor Flav and co will also be playing at the 2025 edition of  Sea.Hear.Now alongside Blink-182, Hozier and LCD Soundsystem as well as at the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta along with My Chemical Romance, Vampire Weekend and Deftones. Visit here for international tickets.

As for other Public Enemy news, the band member made headlines in February after they were seen visiting families who were displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires at the start of the year.

Chuck D and Flavor Flav joined forces with the BMAC (Black Music Action Coalition) to raise money for those affected, and this came after Flav initially teamed up with the coalition to launch a GoFundMe page to benefit displaced Black households in Pasadena and Altadena. Among their efforts included donating $5000 to a young fan who had his drum set destroyed in the fire.

Earlier this year, Flavor Flav made headlines again when he came to Selena Gomez‘s defence, following her comments over US President Donald Trump’s actions against immigrants.
