PS Stars users who have some points racked up can grab a hit 2024 horror game for cheaper than its PS Store price — a rarity when it comes to PS Stars rewards. Popular game Phasmophobia, which released on consoles back in October, is currently $19.99 but can be yours for less.
Use PS Stars points to get Phasmophobia for less than its PS Store price
Phasmophobia appears in the PS Stars’ PS Store rewards section for 2,500 points, which is equivalent to $10 in PS Store credit, as pointed out by Reddit user JayJimbo. If you’re interested in the game, this is a pretty good offer.
We’re not sure if this is a mistake or not because PS Stars game rewards either match or exceed their PS Store prices — something we’ve written about at length before, encouraging our readers to grab wallet fund rewards instead. So, being able to get Phasmophobia for cheaper than its PS Store price is an outlier.
Considering the Reddit post in question that highlighted this deal is a month-old, we hope that this “offer” (or glitch, if it’s that) isn’t pulled.
As a reminder, today is your last chance to earn points for renewing PS Plus subscriptions. Starting tomorrow, subscriptions are no longer eligible to earn points.
