PS Plus Extra and Premium users are due at least two more day-one games in summer 2025. With Lost Records: Bloom & Rage complete and Blue Prince out, players can look forward to Remedy Entertainment’s FBC: Firebreak and Deep Field Games’ Abiotic Factor.
PS Plus Day-1 games of 2025 have been a hit thus far
PS Plus day-one games can be a hit or miss, but so far, 2025’s offerings have been well-received. Blue Prince is already one of the highest-rated games of the year, and although Lost Records doesn’t have enough critic reviews to determine an average score, player response has been generally positive.
According to Don’t Nod, Lost Records’ sales are in line with expectations, which is quite a feat considering the game was offered for free as part of subscription services and split into two parts.
Now, players are awaiting release dates for FBC and Abiotic Factor, both of which are due to land on consoles and PS Plus sometime in the summer. While FBC will be a brand-new release, Abiotic Factor is already out on Steam, where it has excellent user reviews.
Both FBC and Abiotic Factor are multiplayer games. The former is a first-person shooter set in the Control universe and the latter is a unique six-player survival crafting game.
It remains to be seen if Sony will add more day-one games to the PS Plus catalog in 2025.
