While projected No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg is stealing the spotlight in the men’s NCAA tournament, don’t forget about Dylan Harper.
The Rutgers freshman declared for the 2025 NBA draft with an announcement on ESPN’s NBA Today on Monday.
Harper, 19, is projected to be selected No. 2 overall by most draft experts.
The six-foot-six guard averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 29 games with the Scarlet Knights this season.
Harper’s teammate, freshman Ace Bailey, is also a highly touted draft prospect, predicted to be taken in the top-five. Yet, despite its pair of standout college rookies, Rutgers did not participate in any post-season tournaments after posting a 15-17 record in 2024-25.
