Petronas Dagangan and Blueshark JV for e-bikes

To advance the distribution and adoption of electric two-wheelers (e-bikes) and related energy solutions in Malaysia, Petronas Dagangan and Blueshark Ecosystem (BESB) have entered a joint venture (JV). The JV will be the exclusive distributor of Blueshark e-bikes in Malaysia as well as operator of battery-swapping services at selected Petronas stations.

The JV leverages on an existing co-operation between Petronas and Blueshark since 2022. The JV offers battery quick-change options for e-bike riders, businesses and fleet operators in the Klang Valley, Penang and Johor, with expansion plans in progress nation-wide.
