One Last Trailer: Marvel’s “Thunderbolts”

Marvel Studios has premiered what appears to be the final trailer for their “Thunderbolts*” film, the new preview following numerous trailers and extended TV spot releases for the title.

In this one, Yelena’s memories of Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow play a key part in what is a surprisingly somber preview about the group rising above their troubled pasts towards something more – something heroic.

Shot in Atlanta, Utah and New York, the film sees the team-up of some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s anti-heroes and villains as they go on missions for the government.

The team includes Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, and Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost.

Also onboard are Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Geraldine Viswanathan as Valentina’s assistant, Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, and Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff.

The film is being directed by Jake Schreier, with a script from Joanna Calo, Lee Sung Jin, and Eric Pearson.

Marvel’s “Thunderbolts*” is set for a release in cinemas on May 2nd.
