Tigani Motorsport has announced an unchanged lineup for its Realta-backed Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo in this year’s GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS.

Newly minited Mercedes-AMG factory driver Jayden Ojeda will once again team up with Paul Lucchitti in the No. 66 car, as the pair look to build on a first campaign together highlighted by victory in the three-hour endurance race at Sydney Motorsport Park.

That race didn’t count for points in the Sprint portion of the series, but the pair finished seventh in the standings with second-place finishes at Phillip Island and Queensland.

“It’s fantastic to have some continuity heading into this season of GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS,” commented Ojeda, who was confirmed as a factory Mercedes-AMG driver in December.

“I really enjoyed working with Paul and the Tigani Motorsport crew last year, so it was an easy decision for everyone to continue the relationship into this year.

“Paul made some great steps throughout last season, and I am excited to continue to be a part of his development.

“Equally I am impressed by Tigani Motorsport, a team that’s experiencing serious growth over the past few seasons and with some exciting things in the works for the future.”

Team owner Nathan Tigani added: “Excited to lock Jayden’s services in for another season, especially off the back of his new role at Mercedes-AMG.

“It’s great to have Paul again also to entrust us with his 2025 racing endeavours as he is looking to build upon what was a breakout season for him.

“Maintaining symmetry and consistency – both with our drivers and engineering staff, including retaining Matthew Harvey for the No. 66 and crew – will be key in working towards improving what we have already built on over the 2024 season.”

The new GTWC Australia season is due to kick off at Phillip Island on April 4-6.
