Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti stock expected to be as bad as RTX 5090 at launch
A fresh Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti leak has suggested that the number of the cards available to actually buy on launch day will be "on the same level as 5080/5090." In other words, they're likely to sell out in a flash and leave gamers waiting potentially weeks or months for fresh stock to arrive. The development goes against a general hope and belief among many people that the smaller GPU dies used in these lower-end cards would allow for a greater volume of card production than for cards based on larger dies. That is, if Nvidia can produce, say, twice as many smaller RTX 5070 Ti dies per silicon wafer than larger RTX 5090 dies, it stands to reason that we could expect twice the number of cards at launch.
