NEW YORK – Canada’s Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort has appointed Geoffrey Weill Associates to handle its public relations and communications in North America. “We are honored to have been chosen to represent this extraordinary resort located in the wilderness of British Columbia,” says Geoffrey Weill.
Situated in the southern part of the Great Bear Rainforest, Nimmo Bay is a family-owned resort renowned for its wilderness, wildlife, culinary and wellness experiences. Opened in 1980 by Craig and Deborah Murray, it is run today by their eldest son, Fraser, and his wife, Becky. The property is nestled in a serene bay, partly floating, partly built on an outcrop of land, with a waterfall that cascades through the heart of the resort. Guests can explore the surrounding waterways and wilderness by luxury boats, endless hiking trails, kayaks, and helicopters.
Nimmo Bay is comprised of nine private cabins accommodating up to 18 guests, and is only accessible by air or water. Its restaurant, Little River, fitness room, indoor and outdoor lounges and fire deck are all floating and accessed by a walkway. A yoga studio plus two beautiful spaces for wellness treatments, alongside the waterfall and natural plunge pool offer relaxation options for guests. A short boat ride away, guests will find floating wood-fired saunas and hot tubs.
