New Trailer: “The Wheel of Time” Season 3

Amazon Prime Video has released a new trailer for the third season of its fantasy series “The Wheel of Time” based on the international best-selling book series by Robert Jordan.

The series follows the lives of five young villagers that change forever when a strange and powerful woman arrives, claiming one of them is the child of an ancient prophecy with the power to stop the Dark One.

In the third season, threats against the Light are multiplying and both Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike) and Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski) embark on a perilous journey to the Aiel Waste to uncover the true fate of the Dragon Reborn.

With the Forsaken in hot pursuit and Rand’s corrupted power growing stronger, Moraine must prevent the Dragon from turning Dark… no matter the cost.

The new run will focus primarily on storylines from the fourth book in the series titled “The Shadow Rising” but will also introduce elements from the fifth book “The Fires of Heaven” including exploring the concept of Dreamwalking and visiting various locations including return to the Two Rivers.

The new run will also explore new versions of channelling in other cultures. Oscar nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo joins the cast as Elaida do Avriny a’Roihan, a ruthlessly powerful Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah with skills in both channeling and politics.

She also has a long history with Moiraine and Siuan, and scores to settle with both of them when she returns to the White Tower.

The third season of “The Wheel of TIme” will premiere on Prime Video on March 13th 2025.
