Anthony Edwards‘ wallet just got a little lighter.
The NBA fined the Minnesota Timberwolves star $50,000 on Tuesday for “directing inappropriate language and making an obscene gesture” to the Los Angeles Lakers crowd Saturday night.
A video circulating on social media appeared to show Edwards in a verbal spat with a fan that ended with the all-star guard saying “my (expletive is) bigger than yours” and grabbing his crotch area.
The Timberwolves won Game 1 117-95 as Edwards neared a triple-double with 22 points, nine assists and eight rebounds.
The series continues Tuesday with Game 2.
