Mathew Scholtz led the first MotoAmerica Supersport practice session on his Strack Racing Yamaha YZF-R9 on Friday at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. PJ Jacobsen on the Rahal Ducati Moto Panigale V2 was second, ahead of Jake Lewis on the Altus Motorsports Yamaha, Cameron Petersen on the Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse HSBK Panigale and Tyler Scott on the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R750.
