The 27-year-old was left out of Arsenal’s matchday squad for their Premier League match at home to Brentford on Saturday evening. Thomas Partey deputised at right-back, while Jurrien Timber, who started at right-back against Madrid this week, began the game against Brentford on the bench. White, meanwhile, came on as an injury-time substitute in the 3-0 victory against Madrid at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night. But the defender could now miss the return leg of Arsenal’s quarter-final tie at the Santiago Bernabeu next week.
