Man Utd join Arsenal in transfer race to sign £25.6m Spanish star
Man Utd have 'made contact' with the player's camp.

Manchester United have joined Arsenal in a transfer race to sign £25.6m Spanish star Joan Garcia from Espanyol, according to reports.
Arsenal made an attempt to sign Garcia last summer and have been linked to the goalkeeper again with the 23-year-old shining in La Liga this season.
One of Europe’s best young goalkeepers, Garcia has release clause at Espanyol, which could be as high as €30m (£25.6m), COPE have reported.
The Spanish outlet adds that United have now ‘made contact’ with Garcia’s camp as they try to tempt him to pick Old Trafford instead of the Emirates.
United have been linked to several goalkeepers ahead of the summer transfer window with current No.1 Andre Onana badly struggling this term.

Altay Bayindir, United’s No.2 goalkeeper, will enter the final 12 months of his contract this summer, although there is a one-year extension option.
Arsenal, meanwhile, want Garcia to be a back-up and provide competition to their No.1 David Raya, with temporary No.2 Neto heading back to AFC Bournemouth this summer once his loan expires.
Which other goalkeepers are Man Utd looking at?
Garcia is not the only goalkeeper on United’s radar with Ruben Amorim’s side thought to be considering moves for a number of shot-stoppers.
It was reported last week that United have made an approach to sign Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos.
The Red Devils are also believed to be scouting Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki is another option, with the Japan international linked with a switch to Old Trafford too.
Man Utd urged to avoid Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher

Teddy Sheringham has urged United to snub a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher in the summer transfer window.
Kelleher is keen to secure more regular playing time, having operated as a No.2 to Liverpool’s first choice goalkeeper Alisson to date.
Should Kelleher complete a move to United, it would sent shockwaves across football, given that the Red Devils are Liverpool are arch rivals.
Former United striker Sheringham has warned his old club over a potential deal for the 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international.
‘Caoimhin Kelleher to Manchester United… I don’t think that would be good for the player or the club,’ Sheringham told CasinoHawks.
‘It would bring so much pressure on his shoulders.
‘The only way it might be a success is if Ruben Amorim got to know him personally and was able to have a close relationship with him, but without that it would be putting too much pressure on his shoulders.’
