Kean, though, appears as a more affordable option as he carries a £42.5million release clause in his Fiorentina contract. That is significantly less than the sum the Manchester giants would have to splash for an elite striker to take them to the next level. However, that bargain asking price will only be valid from July 1 to 15 of this summer. And United are facing a potential bidding war with Bayern Munich, who are guaranteed a place in next season’s Champions League. Man Utd, on the other hand, will have to win the Europa League to play in Europe’s elite competition next term.
