Most readers might already know this but, if you don’t, you also probably won’t be that surprised that the Trump administration wants to eliminate all federal funding to support English Language Learners.

And this is after Trump’s Executive Order that supposedly makes English the official language of the United States (see The Best Posts & Articles Reacting To Trump’s Executive Order Making English The U.S. Official Language).
Of course, it’s only his budget proposal, and the ones that get approved by Congress are usually significantly different from the budget that was initially proposed.
