Local restaurant brand White Spot returns to Vancouver Airport with ECG Ventures II
The popular Vancouver restaurant chain is being brought back to the airport after an absence of more than five years, with a venue featuring strong sense of place themes.
CANADA. Popular local restaurant chain White Spot is set to return to Vancouver International Airport in partnership with franchisee ECG Ventures II after an absence of more than five years.
The concessionaire will operate a full-service restaurant, lounge and bar with the brand, which previously had a presence at British Columbia’s leading airport between 2010 and 2019 under the management of HMSHost.
Situated in the Domestic pre-security departures area, the new venue will feature classic White Spot menu choices as well as offerings exclusive to this location.
They will include Crispy Tofu, a selection of wagyu burgers, all-day breakfast options such as a Prawn & Bacon Benny, as well as signature cocktails Jalapeño Margarita, Paloma, Italian Greyhound and Wildberry Gin Mule.
Designed to reflect the landscape of British Columbia in line with Vancouver Airport’s focus on sense of place, the new space features a refreshed West Coast aesthetic.
This is evoked in the interior detailing with tones of green, warm reds and copper accents, mixed with wood and stone textures for a warm atmosphere.

The venue is the 16th food & beverage offering to open at the airport since 2022.
