GERMANY. A 140sq m Lego store has opened at Munich Airport Terminal 2, Schengen Zone, in partnership with airport-owned retailer Eurotrade.

The space, which carries a focus on Lego Formula 1 merchandise, represents “an interactive experience that encourages travellers of all generations to discover, enjoy and get involved,” according to an airport company statement.

The well-ranged store carries Lego merchandise for all ages

“We are very excited about expanding our premium shopping range at Munich Airport. With the new Lego store, we are enhancing our high-quality portfolio by adding another attractive highlight for our passengers from all over the world,” said Munich Airport Vice-President Commercial Activities Maria Dahlhaus.

The product range includes around 340 items—from practical souvenirs to collectors’ items. Popular product lines are also available, alongside rarities that can only be found in official stores.

A detailed mural of Munich and various designed models provide additional opportunities for photography. Monthly changing promotions and exclusive limited-edition releases add regular variety.
