James Gunn’s DCU is poised to change and transform the way audiences view the characters attached to the brand. Gunn's remake begins with the release of Superman, which is only a few months away. But beyond the return of the Man of Steel, the universe has already begun to revamp itself, with the Max original series, Lanterns, in the works. No major hiccups have hampered the long-awaited Green Lantern series from HBO, which is currently in production. It is the first live-action series set in Gunn's rebooted DCU, bringing together Friday Night Lights star Kyle Chandler, on board as Hal Jordan, alongside Rebel Ridge star Aaron Pierre, who steps into the role of John Stewart.
