John Boyega Says Kevin Feige Asked Him What MCU Character He’d Like To Play, Teases ‘X-Men’ Interest: “I’d Play Bishop”

Over the weekend “Star Wars” actor John Boyega was chatting with “Happy Sad Confused” podcast host Josh Horowitz where the actor revealed (via Agents of Fandom) at Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo that Marvel Studios‘ Kevin Feige once asked him what characters he’d like to play and while he diden’t name who that was, he responded with a fan’s suggestion of the mutant Bishop from the “X-Men” franchise with “Oh, I’d play Bishop!”

Lucas Bishop is one of the more underrated mutant characters, as he is a time traveler and comes from the same grim future as Cable, aka Nathan Summers.
