Liverpool are in the market to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will leave Arne Slot’s side when his contract expires at the end of the season and is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer. Frimpong, meanwhile, has established himself as one of the best right-sided defenders in Europe with his impressive performances for Leverkusen over the past three seasons. The 24-year-old, who has five goals and 12 assists this season, played an integral role in Leverkusen’s domestic league and cup success last term.
