Jensen McRae announced her sophomore LP, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me!, due out on April 25 via Dead Oceans, which she signed to last year. The title comes from a line from Back to the Future, and she recorded it in North Carolina with Brad Cook. It also features contributions from Nathan Stocker of Hippo Campus, Matthew McCaughan, and her brother, Holden McRae, and you can see the cover art and tracklist below.
The album features McRae’s 2024 single “Massachusetts,” and she’s shared another single, “Praying For Your Downfall,” which makes good use of her sharp lyricism. Watch the video, directed by Kat White, below.
McRae also announced a spring tour, which begins on May 3 in Philadelphia and runs through May 28 in Los Angeles, with shows in Europe and the UK to follow. See all dates below.
The NYC show is at Bowery Ballroom on May 7. Tickets to that and all dates go on sale Friday, February 28 at 10 AM local, with various presales starting Monday, February 24 at 10 AM local.
